At the age of 16 a person can leave school, get married, join the armed forces and pay tax all things that require responsible and mature choices. Yet why can they not vote for the Parliament and Government which decides educational, fiscal and military policy? This petition wants this unfair situation reversed with 16 year olds given the franchise and a real say in their society.
