Tom Baker has been one of this country's best loved actors for many years.

He is perhaps most famous for his much loved portrayal of the 4th "Doctor Who" from 1974-1981, a role he made his own.

He has also recently appeared in such successful series as "Randall and Hopkirk (Deceased)", "Monarch of the Glen" and the comedy series "Little Britain", which he narrates.

We would like to see him knighted in the honours list for services to acting.
