We request the Prime Minister to follow other world leaders in condemning the use of force by the Chinese military in response to peaceful protests in Lhasa and other parts of Tibet. We also request the Prime Minister to call upon the Chinese leadership to respect the basic human rights of the Tibetan people and to meet His Holiness the Dalai Lama for negotiations.
