The media reports that Gordon Brown has banned ministers from using the word “Muslim” in connection with the terrorism crisis in London and Glasgow.

The theory is apparently that it will unite the country and communities.

The problem is this politically correct move won’t do anything to stop terror!

It may even encourage terror - if our own PM is afraid to admit the problem as it is, how on earth can he be expected to tackle it?

We need a strong PM when it comes to terror – not one who sticks his head in the sand like an ostrich. The British people deserve better.
