stop the intended switch off of analogue (VHF) radio because the alternative DAB option currently promoted by the BBC offers significantly inferior listening quality. The BBC continues to transmit incorrect propoganda promoting their DAB option which is inferior to other digital options available, including what is available in other European Countries. Overall, the BBC DAB is inferior to VHF sound quality. We do not need an increase in quantity of channels. Cable and satalite television has shown that more options only brings more inferior quality. We want an increase in sound quality on currently available VHF channels. VHF is the way to go for quality even if band width is limited. Less is more in this case.Mr Gregory Derham21 July 2010117

both preserve our vulnerable coastline and to create a large and effective renewable energy source by building outer sea walls, creating lagoons. Each outer sea wall would contain a number of electricity generating turbines. The outer sea walls would effectively be tidal barrages, but without blocking access to rivers. Tidal power is guaranteed to be reliable whereas wind is not. Nuclear power is not safe and there is the problem of disposing of the waste which can remain dangerous for thousands of years. Coal, gas and oil will not last forever. The outer sea walls could be built in areas were coastal erosion is a serious problem as they would give protection.Philip Glover30 June 201027
