All other forms of public transport receive a rebate in fuel duty, and licenced taxis should be included as they are available 24 hours a day, and are they only means of transport in some remote area's. When the price of diesel goes up we cannot suddenly charge more to compensate, unless our councils agree to a rise in fares.
