On 1st October 2007, Post Office Ltd. announced the proposed closure of the Grovehill Road Post Ofiice,Grovehill Road,Beverley,East Riding of Yorkshire.
We believe that this Post Office is a focal point for the local community, and is an essential amenity and service provider - particularly to the socially disadvantaged, marginalised and vulnerable.
We reject the closure and ask that the Government looks again at new ways of allowing sub-post offices to provide the new services that will secure their future.
