The print media is whipping up a media frenzy about the Great White Shark currently allegedly swimming in our Cornish waters.
The use of such emotive phrases as "maneater" depicts the GWS in an unfair light. Other less well known sharks (Blue and Mako) are also regular vistors to our waters but do not recieve such attention or rhetoric.
I would like to see some sort of protection for this shark to prevent IT being actively hunted as a result of the media coverage of its presence.
