The recent high profile take-overs of football clubs by investors with well publicised doubts surrounding financial dealings and acts of human rights abuse, has called into question where the heart of the sport now lies. We are not willing to stand back and watch as the positive , celebratory and life-affirming aspects of football are permanently contaminated for the sake of more money. This is supposed to be the peoples game and we should now take action, before our game is taken further away from us.
