We the undersigned petition the Prime Minister to to put the word 'education' back in the titles of the government departments dealing with schools, colleges and universities. This symbolic act will embolden parents, teachers, lecturers - and all those committed to education as the primary aim of these institutions - and ensure that education is not forgotten in favour of the teaching of skills, good behaviour or ‘emotional well being’.
