I see no reason why 1. Metric and Imperial shouldn't both be lawful, and 2. Why all products shouldn't be compulsorily labelled in both systems. Why shouldn't yoghurts be labelled, for example, "150g 5.29oz", or jam "340g 12oz"?
This dual labelling should last in perpetuity, as should the lawfulness of both systems.
