Each letter is to be individually hand signed by the Minister in person. More details

The gross incompetence of the HMRC losing several sets of data recently is appalling. The idea of Alistair Darling having to spend many years hand signing 25 million letters of apology to the victims would at least make the government take this issues a little more seriously.
