More details from petition creator

It has been proven again and again that cats really, really help in mental health problems and chronic pain.

We petition the government to allow cats to be recognised as assistance animals, especially so that disabled people in accomodation that would not normally allow pets, would allow the cat to live there as an assistance animal.

This is a very small thing to ask, and would bring joy and better health to a large number of disabled people in the country.
