The 1974 Ashdown Forest act does not reflect that the forest has been in public ownership since 1989.The management is not open nor accountable. The public have no means of holding anyone to account as the 1974 act is outside the jurisdiction of the English Standards Board and the Local Government Ombudsman this situation must be addressed urgently.
