More details from petition creator

Given that any so-called benefits provided by a private employer are taxed as "Benefits in Kind", we call upon the Government to implement the same for all MP's, this includes second homes, car allowances that exceed that which is allowed for the public and all other "perks".

We also call for the abolition of MP's being able to claim Council Tax or Mortgage relief and that they should pay their own as everyone else has to do.

Further, we require that MP's Salaries and benefits shall henceforth be decided by an independent Public Body elected by the people to stop the abuses by MP's of their position of trust.
