Currently in certain areas the wait to recieve smaer test results can take more than 18 weeks which is disgusting. This is nevewr a pleasant time for any women let alsone the women who have had past problems. If I went to a private clinic I could recieve the results within 72 hours by paying £111 this eems both unfair and unsafe. I was always led to believe smear test were important with such increase in waiting times maybe this is no longer the case.
