The proposal for Lloyds TSB to take over and asset strip one of Scotlands oldest institutions is no longer necessary following the Govt. support of the banking industry in the UK.
This take over will cost 100's of jobs both in Scotland and England. Leaving the Govt. to pick up the benefits bill and social consequences of its actions.
Have courage Mr Prime Minister and halt this action now, before the loss of 100's possibly 1000's of jobs !
