It has come to light that an injured soldier, now medically retired, has received notice to get out of his Service Home.

Our Service men and women deserve better than this treatment when they have become severely injured or disabled while serving on our Countries behalf.

Should the need arise for someone to have to leave specific service quarters, the MOD should make sure that alternative accommodation, to similar standard to the premises being vacated, is in place before kicking out our men and women to whom we owe so much.

It should be the MOD responsibility to assist with ALL the needs of those who are in need, rather than discard and forget them.
