The Chancellor has announced how there are going to be below inflation pay deals for public sector workers over the next few years. As a way of leading by example, all salaries and allowances for M.P.s (from the P.M. to the opposition back benches) should be frozen for the next three years. They should then increase in line with the mean average increase of all public sector workers.
