I suffer with a condition called fibromyalgia, I know many people who suffer with this and other so called "invisible illnesses" such as CFS, asthma etc. These illnesses are rarely recognised as "real illnesses" or seen to be causing a problem by employers, benefits agencies, and local councils . We have to put up with being called benefit scroungers and given dirty looks when using disabled facilities and parking. All this because we can have good days as well as bad. We want a fair deal when it comes to DLA, Blue Badge Schemes and other disability schemes.
