the residents of Bracknell Forest have for many years campaigned to have their own Hospital which has been turned down again and again however Heatherwood Hospital in Ascot is the nearest but since being merged with Wexham Park NHS Trust the services have been slowly eroded. to the point where Heatherwood is now operating at less that 10% of it's previous levels. Wexham Park is not even in Berkshire, it is in Buckinghamshire
