Harlow District Council voted to reduce funding for Welfare Rights and Advice from £500,000 to £99,240 per year. This decision was quashed in the High Court by Mr Justice Davis on Monday 9th March on the grounds that the Council’s decision was made without due regard for the consequences it would have on the disadvantaged residents of Harlow. We respectfully ask that funding remain at its current level to allow the Advice Centre to advise the 14,000 people per year who ask for help and uidance.
