We the undersigned petition the Prime Minister to Stop the unfair sound restrictions at the Glade Festival!. More details
Submitted by Richard Lock – Deadline to sign up by: 09 August 2008 – Signatures: 28
This is a petition set up on behalf of the organisers of the Glade Festival which takes place in July of each year at a ‘secret location’ near Newbury (which I obviously I cant disclose here, but all those concerned are familiar with its aim is to gain permission to turn the sound up which was drastically restricted at 2007’s event.
There are over 16,000 people who attend Glade Festival, most of them are hard working decent people who slave away at relatively mundane jobs, abiding by the laws and paying their taxes. Many only get allocated 20 days holiday a year out of the hundreds worked.
2007 was hampered by unfair and harsh noise restrictions which were obviously put in place to protect that local population, who seemed to have complained All we ask by signing this petition is that for these two nights of the year please allow those thousands of hard working, law abiding citizens who aren’t out on your streets getting drunk and fighting, who aren’t out stealing cars, who aren’t out spreading negativity of any kind, to have those few hours of decent sound back.
