We the undersigned petition the Prime Minister to To take a serious and thoroughly independent scientific approach to evaluating and compiling data regarding UFO incursion into British airspace and it's implications on national security, and to also make publically available all conclusions reached. Many UFO sightings and encounters are reported every year by trained, professional military and civil aviation staff which are then treated with extreme scepticism.
Because of the number of these reports, it would be wise to have a fully independent scientific study to compile and evaluate all reported data.
The requested compiled report would be an uncensored, full and frank evaluation of the data, something akin to the French government's 1999 COMETA report entitled: "UFOs and Defense: What must we be prepared for?" ("Les Ovni Et La Defense: A quoi doit-on se préparer?").
