More details from petition creator

The Fampoux Memorial Gardens and Stone was erected by the Ex Serviceman of the Hampshire Regiment in 1922, to commorate the lives of those from the regiment who were lost in the Battle of Fampoux in 1917 during WW1. Under a new Parks initiative, the Bournemouth Borough Council what to remove, destroy, 18 Parks including the Fampoux Gardens to make way for high rise dwellings. In this case 11 Flats. It is not with immediate effect, but if we do not act now, it will be forgotten and a year or two, the Memorial will be gone without notification.
