Government Actuaries have ironed out a historic Gender Inequality in Police Pension Commutation Tables announced in May, 2008, backdated to 1st Oct, 2007 that substantially financially disadvantages any male officers retiring before the cut off date. The Petitioners suggest some graded backdating to iron out the huge variance in Commutation paid before and after the date of 1st October, 2007.
