The government plans for 50% off insulation are stupid. Most people would want to just buy the insulation and roll it out themselves. Even with 50% off it'll still cost several times more to have it fitted
The only people left are the few old people with no close family to help install it who'll be completely ripped off.
Take VAT off all insulation.
Provide recycled insulation created from our rubbish to us at cost price.
